Over the past 10 months I have been presented with some serious challenges. Not just in my business life but also my personal life. I recently lost both my parents to cancer and it has been an unbelievable time for myself and my family.
The lesson learned? Life is short. You have to make the most of the opportunities you have and not wait around for things to come to you because they won't! Make the most of life and leave a legacy for your friends and family to remember you by. Don't wait for tomorrow, next week or next year.
It is easy to fall into a rut with our daily lives and accept that it is easier to keep doing what we are doing than to try something new. Fear of failure often stops us for fully acheiving what it is we desire, but my question is: How do you know if you never try?
I am thankful for the fact that both my parents succeeded in their business and family lives and taught myself and my siblings not to give up. Persistance pays off! Your life can be what ever you want it to be. Success comes in many different forms, and my goal is to live a full and happy life so that when I eventually come to the end of mine, that I can be safe in the knowledge that I did everything I set out to acheive.
